Ed Colver is a legendary Los Angeles–based photographer best known for documenting the early hardcore punk scene from the mid 1970s–1980s. His raw black-and-white photos captured bands like Black Flag, Circle Jerks, and Minor Threat, and his images became iconic album covers that defined punk’s visual identity. Colver’s work is considered essential to the history of American punk culture.
Ric Clayton is a Venice, California–based artist best known for his raw, hand-drawn artwork that helped define the 1980s punk and skate scene. He’s closely associated with Suicidal Tendencies, creating iconic flyers, T-shirt graphics, and imagery that became central to the band’s visual identity. He also did work for bands like No Mercy, Excel, Beowulf as well as Dogtown Skateboards. Beyond art, Ric was also part of the music scene, playing bass in bands like No Mercy.
